NIST Unveils Four Algorithms that will Underpin New ‘Quantum-Proof’ Cryptography Standards

NIST has officially announced four new algorithms that harden the post-quantum cryptographic approach. In this article, Dr. Vincent Berk, our Chief Strategy Officer, reminds readers that despite mathematicians and cryptographers doing the best they can to identify algorithms that can defend against sophisticated hacks, it is very possible that a quantum, or even a conventional binary computer will be able to break newer, as well as existing crypto technology.
