Quantum Xchange Named Best of Montgomery County in the 2021 MD Cybersecurity Awards by the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc.

The 5th Annual Awards Program Recognizes the Best of Maryland’s Cybersecurity Industry and Celebrates the Resiliency of the Cybersecurity Industry

BETHESDA, Md. – Sept. 23, 2021 – The Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc. (CAMI), Maryland’s only nonprofit organization dedicated to bolstering the growth of the state’s cybersecurity industry, named Quantum Xchange Best of Montgomery County in the 2021 MD Cybersecurity Awards. These competitive awards recognize leading-edge cybersecurity product and services companies headquartered in Maryland for their innovations and contributions to the state’s cybersecurity ecosystem.  

This marks Quantum Xchange’s third-consecutive CAMI award win, having been named the 2020 Company to Watch and 2019 Innovator of the Year. Despite a global pandemic, Quantum Xchange continues to innovate on its groundbreaking, out-of-band key distribution system, Phio Trusted Xchange (TX).  The company introduced two new products in late 2020 early 2021 with the launch of Phio TX-C, a cloud version of its Phio TX security appliance and Phio TX-D, an edge device or quantum-safe VPN that enables organizations of any size or scope to kick-start their quantum readiness journey then scale their protection levels as the threat landscape evolves and business requirements change. 

In total, 84 nominations were considered across seven categories for the 2021 MD Cybersecurity Awards. Entries were evaluated by 12 independent judges whose roles range from Vice Presidents to Founders.
