Future Quantum Computers May Be Powered By Crystals

Each year, quantum computers get bigger and each day more and more complex problems are solved. While there are many positive applications for quantum computers, such as predicting how well medication will work, early prediction of earthquakes, or modeling how we may attack a particular kind of cancer, there are also “less nice” applications, such as breaking the encryption we use to transact via our bank’s website.
