Company Receives Globee Awards for the Product Introduction of Phio TX-D and Quantum Literacy Awareness Campaign
BETHESDA, Md. – March 3, 2022 – Quantum Xchange announced today that The Globee® Awards, organizers of world’s premier business awards programs and business ranking lists, has named Phio TX-D a Gold winner in the 18th Annual 2022 Cyber Security Global Excellence Awards® in the category of Best New Product-Service of the Year (Security Hybrid). Quantum Xchange’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer April Burghardt received a Bronze win for the “Get Quantum Fit in 2021” campaign in the category of Best Communications or PR Project or Initiative of the Year.
These prestigious global awards recognize cyber security and information technology vendors with advanced, ground-breaking products, solutions, and services that are helping set the bar higher for others in all areas of security and technologies. More than 55 judges from around the world representing a wide spectrum of industry experts participated in the judging process.
This is the fourth consecutive year Quantum Xchange has been recognized by the Globee Awards, previously winning in the categories of Hot Security Technology in Telecommunications in 2021, Best New Product-Service Security Hybrid in 2020, and 2019 Startup of the Year and Innovation in Next Generation Security.
Phio TX-D was launched in April 2021 to make quantum-safe encryption available and affordable to organizations of any size. Smaller in form and function than the Phio TX appliance, the Model-D version is an edge device delivering quantum-safe Virtual Private Network (VPN) and private network encryption for smaller locations or deployments. Phio TX-D is an attractive technology for branch offices or work-from-home locations, but it also offers even the most sophisticated networks a practical, first step toward quantum readiness. Quantum Xchange used the start of the 2021 calendar year to launch its “Get Quantum Fit in 2021” awareness campaign. The goal of the marketing and communications program was to drive awareness and educate cybersecurity professionals, especially those responsible for the security of long-duration data, on the looming quantum threat – the day when a quantum computer breaks today’s encryption – encouraging them to become agents of change within their organizations, to set an organizational plan for quantum readiness, and to take action. The initiative consisted of a 2-minute quantum IQ test, the white paper “Improving Your Quantum Literacy: A Preparation Guide for the Post-Quantum World” and a robust library of educational materials on quantum security approaches, best practices, and recommended next steps.
